Research in Finance genuinely care about making a meaningful difference, by helping to support various charities across the U.K. and globally. Through our market research, participant contributions and our own donations, we help to raise thousands of pounds each year for charities such as MacMillan Cancer Support, The Trussell Trust, The Money Charity and UNICEF.
This year we took part in hosting a coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Not only was this a great excuse to eat cake and be social with the team and other offices in our building, but it was also an enjoyable way to raise money for for Macmillan Cancer Support.
We are proud that are coffee morning raise £336 for this fantastic charity.
In addition to charitable donations, Research in Finance actively take part in volunteer programmes each year. Lending a hand and pitching in to help charitable organisations to achieve their goals… be this community operations, conservation work or even getting our hands dirty to help make a difference.
For this years volunteering activity, we volunteered with Groundworks to help construct a pergola and raised flower beds for an NHS Therapeutic Gardening project in East London. Providing therapeutic space for patients with mental health problems to help support their recovery and wellbeing.
Over the course of this day we helped to clear space on the allotment and to construct a large seated pergola with raised flower beds (from scratch!), as well as other assorted work on the allotment to make it a welcoming space for patients.
