Jack is a highly skilled researcher with more than eight years’ experience in both quantitative and qualitative research studies, and has worked at RiF for nearly 5 years. He has an extensive understanding and knowledge of the private investor, retail intermediary and institutional investment markets, having led studies across all of these audiences.
Jack has particular expertise in pension scheme investment and responsible investment, having been the lead researcher on two of RiF’s flagship studies – UK Institutional Market Study and UK Responsible Investing Study. Across research methodologies, he has been involved in quantitative scoping studies which have helped asset managers to understand their clients in more detail, in brand tracking research which have run for several waves, as well as qualitative research which has assessed asset manager marketing materials in depth. He enjoys being involved in all elements of a research project, from survey & discussion guide design to analysis and presentation, in order to best understand client objectives and build actionable recommendations.
Before joining Research in Finance in 2019, Jack was a Senior Research Executive at GfK, where he worked on large scale studies on behalf of banking and insurance clients. He holds a first class honours undergraduate degree in Economics at the University of Exeter.
